Hillsborough: 'Justice for the 96'
Updated on 15 April 2009
Hecklers interrupt Culture Secretary Andy Burnham as he reads out a message from the prime minister at a service for survivors of the Hillsborough disaster.
Amid shouts of "justice for the 96", 30,000 people paid tribute at Liverpool's Anfield ground, including players and the families of those who died.
At exactly 3.06pm, 20 years to the moment after the referee ended the game at which 96 Liverpool fans were crushed to death at Hillsborough, Liverpool fell silent.
Football has changed completely since Hillsborough. The death-trap stands have gone and in their place there are now modern, comfortable grounds, with the big money to match.
But for those who were caught up in the tragedy so much remains unresolved.
Alongside grief there is real anger that the truth about what happened has never been told and that no-one has been held to account.
