Three new cases of swine flu have been confirmed in Britain: a 12-year-old girl and two adults have tested positive for the virus, all have recently returned from Mexico.

The newly-married couple near Falkirk who were confirmed to have the virus on Monday are recovering well in hospital.

The government says it has ordered more anti viral drugs and 50 million doses will shortly be available, along with several million face masks for frontline health workers.
