Health review amid poll fever

There was more than a whiff of election fever about today's health service review.
The interim report was produced by the surgeon Lord Darzi, but Gordon Brown made sure he was very much in the picture.
His proposals include new health innovation council to develop cutting-edge techniques, locally based polyclinics, and yet another hospital cleaning initiative. But the report leaves all the tough decisions for the future.
