Doctors' warning for Brown
Updated on 25 June 2007
Doctors' leaders have condemned the government's health reforms.
At the British Medical Association's annual conference, acting leader Dr Sam Everington said he had a message for Prime Minister-in-waiting Gordon Brown:
"Your government has lost the support of many of the 1.3 million people who work for your NHS."
Delegates voted overwhelmingly for the resignation of the Chief Medical Officer over the shambolic junior doctors' application system.
