Doctor in court over sex charges

A GP is appearing in court accused of sex offences.

Dr Rajinder Aggarwal, 53, of Ilford, east London, will appear before magistrates in Grays, Essex, to face four allegations of "sexual touching", said detectives.

Four women - aged between 26 and 53 - had made allegations against Aggarwal, they said. It was alleged that offences had been committed in 2006 and 2007.

Police said Aggarwal had worked in surgeries and hospitals in various parts of England but had been suspended since March 2007.
