Using the Freedom of Information Act, Channel4 News has surveyed the UK's most parking ticket happy local authorities.

And you can now find your way around the UK's finest streets in full colour with Google's map programmes, Google Earth and Google Maps.

If you have Google Earth installed, just click the link here

It will download a small file, which will open Google Earth automatically and present the traffic fine data for you. If that doesn't work, save it to your desktop, open Google Earth and then open it from there.

On our map, the UK streets which have produced the greatest amount of traffic fines are shown by little red cars. Click on the car to see how much a parking ticket is in the Borough.

You can also see the most ticketed street, see how much money the local council has made from fines on that street, and the total value of fines they have issued across the whole area for financial 2005/06.

You can also zoom into the heavily ticketed street in question.

To use it with Google's Street map product, open Google Maps and copy the following code into the search bar:

Google Maps doesn't need to be installed. To install Google Earth on your computer, click here.
