China stems quake lake floods

China stops a lake, formed by the earthquake a month ago, from spilling over and causing massive floods.

Experts had feared that the Tangjiashan lake, which formed just above the ruined city of Beichuan, would burst its banks, endangering millions of people. But today, the Chinese military managed to avert disaster.
