Burma: 300,000 feared dead

The scale of Burma's cyclone grows dramatically, with a Whitehall source saying up to 300,000 people are now feared dead.

Today a foreign office minister said that if the Burmese generals are deliberately preventing aid from getting to victims it would be "tantamount to a major humanitarian crime".

Our foreign affairs correspondent Jonathan Miller reports from Bangkok on how conditions are getting worse, not better, for the cyclone's victims, and the lack of options for those trying to help.
