The surveillance log is more like an intelligence document tracking terror suspects than a description of parents seeking a school for their child.
A family in Poole have reacted with fury at the discovery that their local council sent undercover investigators to spy on them.
Poole borough council claimed their investigation was justified under the regulation of investigatory powers act because they needed to check whether the parents really did live in the school catchment area.
