Updated on 15 August 2008
The qualifications and curriculum authority scraps its five year deal with the company that had been brought in to mark the papers.
ETS Europe's managing director has apologised for the delays in the results of thousands of national curriculum tests for 11 and 14-year-olds in England.
The company was awarded the £150m contract only last year.
