Why British scientists are hunting for dark matter in a Yorkshire mine

A multi-billion pound European project is in danger of being upstaged by a group of British scientists.

Based in Switzerland, the world's first subatomic super collider represents some £7m of European money. One of its key aims is to discover dark matter.

But that's something which a group of British scientists say they're closer to finding at the bottom of a Yorkshire mine.
