The planet IS getting hotter - and we are to blame. That's the stark warning of a new report bringing together the expertise of the world's top scientists.

The report, from the United Nations International Panel on Climate Change, suggests that the climate change threat is even greater than originally feared.

The worst-case scenario predicts temperatures could rise by as much as 6.4 degrees celsius.
