UK embroiled in cyber war

Has the Cold War with the Russian bear been replaced by a 21st century cyber war with the Chinese dargon?
It's being reported that British government departments, including the Foreign Office, have come under sustained attack from Chinese hackers.
China has officially denied responsibility and rejects claims that hackers controlled by its military are responsible for the security breaches.

And German Chancellor Angela Merkel is reported to have raised the issue of Chinese attacks on her government's computers during a recent visit to Beijing.
