Updated on 07 March 2009
Krishnan Guru-Murthy talks to the founder of the online music service Spotify using some of your questions sent via Twitter.
Who is Daniel Ek?
Swedish entrepreneur Daniel Ek is the founder of the streaming music service Spotify, along with Martin Lorentzon.
Spotify was founded in 2006. The services involves downloading a programme similar to Apple's iTunes onto a computer and allows "collaborative" playlists that can be shared between friends.
Unlike iTunes and other music download services, Spotify streams music via the internet.
The services is offered free to anyone in Britain with advertisements played every 15 minutes, or at a cost of 99p for 24-hours ad-free or £9.99 for a month of ad-free listening.
Earlier this week Spotify had to alert subscribers to a security breach where hackers may have accessed user registration details.
Rival services include last.fm.
