Now, can you remember life without the distractions of email, e-commerce and whiling away hours at work surfing the web?

Incredibly, it's only ten years since the internet truly entered our lives. 1998 saw the dot.com boom hit Britain and witnessed the birth of sites like Google and so many internet technologies that are now so firmly embedded in everything we do.
