Second Life affair, real divorce

A woman is divorcing her husband after she caught him having a virtual affair in the online computer game Second Life.

Amy and David Pollard met through the website where players create characters for themselves in a virtual world. Their characters - Laura Skye and Dave Barmy started going out and from there true love blossomed in the real world.

They married in August 2005 and also held an online ceremony styled on David and Victoria Beckham's wedding.

But their cyber dreams fell apart last year when Amy Pollard logged on and discovered her husband's character having sex with a prostitute.

They're now divorcing in the real world - and Mr Pollard is apparently seeing the woman behind his online mistress.
