Mexico trips suspended on FO advice
Updated on 28 April 2009
British holiday companies suspend their Mexican operations following the outbreak of the deadly swine flu virus.
UK tour operators made the decision after the Foreign Office issued advice against all but essential travel to the country.
Some 3,000 British holidaymakers are still in Mexico and flights to take them back will start today.
Other European countries including France, Germany and Spain are also advising against non-vital travel to Mexico.
