Floods chaos hits Scotland

Torrential rain causes widespread flooding in north and east Scotland, closing roads, flooding homes and cancelling trains. Samira Ahmed reports.

Floods

The worst affected area was Aberdeenshire, where emergency services were out all night helping people trapped in their homes.

In Huntley dozens of elderly residents had to be evacuated from their care home, and the town of Stonehaven was partly submerged.
