Now, it was Smokey Robinson who said - or rather sang: "Don't let my glad expression give you the wrong impression". But that is just what one Canadian woman is saying has happened to her. More4 News reports.

It is all to do with Facebook photos, male strippers and depression.

Nathalie Blanchard says she depends on her Facebook friends a lot these days.

Two years ago she started suffering from anxiety attacks and depression - IBM the company where she works accepted this and let her take extended sick leave - on full pay.

But last month Miss Blanchard's disability insurance checks stopped and after telephoning IBM to ask why, she says she got a straight if surprising answer. They had stopped her checks because they saw her photos on Facebook.
