A woman claiming to be an alien, trapped on earth. A pilot, describing a "near miss" with a UFO, as he came into land at Heathrow.
And an American fighter pilot convinced he saw a flying saucer in airspace above Kent.
Just some of the mysterious incidents revealed in Ministry of Defence files, made public by the National Archives.
Both pilots' experiences were investigated by the military and civil aviation authorities but, in the end, were left unresolved.
Conspiracy theorists can draw their own conclusions.
