Brown urges MPs to help 'ourselves'

The prime minister tells MPs to help "ourselves and future generations" ahead of tonight's free vote on controversial hybrid embryo research.
Scientists want to be able to create human-animal embryos for stem cells to treat a range of diseases, which they say could save thousands of lives.
The bill will also seek votes on the creation of "saviour siblings" whose genetic material could be used to help sick relatives.
But there's stiff resistance across the parties and from religious groups.
