You can get anything you want at Amazon. Or can you? Why allegations of censorship are creeping up on the web warehouse.

They are among the world's best known novelists, from E. M. Forster to Jeanette Winterson.

But they have suddenly lost their best-seller rankings on the internet retail site Amazon, along with many other gay and lesbian works.

After a barrage of protests about censorship, the company's denied any 'family friendly' policy, saying it was a glitch in the system.
