It sounds almost heretical to suggest it, and yet forty years ago hallucinogenic drugs like acid were often used to treat patients.
Now, a trial in the United States appears to show the partially successful use of ecstasy and MDMA to treat people with post traumatic stress.
Britain's psychiatrists, in conference today, are deciding whether there's a future in it.
