Mohamed makes torture claims

Updated on 07 March 2009

By Simon Israel

Former Guantanamo prisoner Binyam Mohamed has claimed Britain not only knew about his interrogations under torture, but also contributed to the questioning.

He alleges he was beaten, punched and subjected to psychological torture during six years of detention by American forces.

Now back in the UK, he's made the first direct allegations of collusion and complicity by British intelligence agents.

Mohamed says he made notes after documents were made available to him as part of court proceedings in the America.
