Updated on 06 June 2008
The opposition leader in Zimbabwe, Morgan Tsvangirai, has been stopped by police and arrested on his way to a campaign rally.
His party, the Movement for Democratic Change says he was stopped just outside Bulawayo and has been taken to a police station.
Robert Mugabe's government has accused aid agencies in the country of helping the opposition, and ordered them to stop working ahead of the presidential run-off later this month.
