Obama's notorious former preacher repeats many of the controversial statements that have deeply damaged Obama's image. Sarah Smith reports.
It was the last thing the Obama campaign wanted or needed.
Reverend Wright claimed the US had brought 9/11 on itself; and likened US marines in Iraq to oppressive Roman legionnaires of biblical times.
It's a devastating blow to Barack Obama, who is struggling to win over the white working class voters he needs to secure the nomination as the Democrats' Presidential candidate.
Republicans have seized on the comments and are running anti-Obama TV ads featuring Reverend Wright.
