Will turmoil swing US election?

The economic downturn hits hard in Ohio, one of the key swing states in the US presidential election.
With three weeks to go before America chooses its next president, Barack Obama has built up a solid lead over Republican John McCain.
Both men have been talking up their own rescue plans, which are designed to appeal to middle class voters.
Polls suggest Obama is gaining ground in the swing states that helped put George Bush in the White House.
Channel 4 News visited the town of Moraine, where jobs are under threat at the General Motors plant.
