Will China veto Darfur force?

At their joint news conference today, President Bush described the situation in Darfur as "genocide" and thanked Gordon Brown for his leadership.

The Prime Minister said the two leaders had agreed to push forward a United Nations resolution for a joint peacekeeping force with the African Union.

But any new UN resolution would need the support of China - which holds a veto on the UN Security Council - and is also Sudan's largest foreign investor.

We report on whether the Chinese will be likely to support this resolution for action.
