More4 News puts names to the faces of the military elite clinging to power.

The crucial players in the situation are the junta, the strange group of army officers who call the shots, literally so, in Burma.

Tonight they'll be calculating whether repression has worked - or whether this burgeoning revolution may be developing an unstoppable force.

So, who are the hard fisted junta, and how do they persuade their troops to open fire on their own citizens?
