The American secretary of state Condoleezza Rice arrives in Georgia in a show of support for the country a week after fighting with Russian began.
Rice will present the Georgian president with a ceasefire deal that's been brokered by France.
But three days after declaring an end to its military operations against Georgia, Russian forces are still in the country, not just in the two breakaway regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, but also in the three Georgian towns of Gori, Poti and Zugdidi.
