UN 'fails to stop Congo killing'

A major UN peacekeeping force, already in the Democratic Republic of Congo, is accused by the Congolese government of failing to stop civilian killings.
Meanwhile, African leaders have said they are prepared to dispatch more peacekeepers to the country.
Renewed fighting has broken out between government troops and rebel forces.
Following this programme's discovery of civilians' bodies in the town of Kiwanja yesterday, an aide to the Congolese president said rebel soldiers were slaughtering people while the UN did nothing.
