UN envoy sees Aung San Suu Kyi

As the number of protesters on the streets in Burma dwindles, the UN envoy meets opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi.

The military in Burma has been reinforcing its control of the streets. Very few protesters are seen out now.

Meanwhile, UN envoy Ibrahim Gambari has met Burmese opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi, who is still under house arrest.

This afternoon Channel 4 News spoke by phone to a reporter in Rangoon, whose identity we are not disclosing for his own protection.
