Tsvangirai 'wins' election

Four weeks after Zimbabwe's disputed election, officials confirm Morgan Tsvangirai has won, but without the majority needed to avoid a run off against Robert Mugabe. Jonathan Miller has more.
They've won - but not by enough: more than a month after Zimbabwe's disputed elections - the opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai has been confirmed as the winner, beating Robert Mugabe in the presidential poll.
But election officials said Tsvangirai had failed to get the overall majority needed to avoid a run off - garnering 47.9 per cent of the vote, to Mugabe's 43.2 per cent.
Tonight Mr Mugabe's agent said he would contest a run-off: the opposition said they'd decide whether to take part this weekend. Our foreign affairs correspondent Jonathan Miller reports.
