Three British soldiers seriously hurt in Afghan friendly fire incident

Three soldiers are receiving hospital treatment after coming under Apache helicopter fire.

The three were part of an army ground patrol in the Helmand province. It came under fire after being mistaken for enemy forces.

This is the first incident of its kind involving British air support.
