Terror attacks in Mumbai

A co-ordinated set of gun and grenade attacks have been launched in Mumbai, the Indian city formerly known as Bombay.

It's a major terrorist attack and it's still underway, with several places under siege

The police now say the number of dead is eighty, one police officer has said that he expects that toll to increase.

It's thought that some western hostages are being held at the Taj Mahal hotel.
