'Surrender or die' says Sri Lanka to rebels

Tamil Tiger sources say they fear an imminent attack after their calls for a ceasefire are rejected by the Sri Lankan government. Nick Paton Walsh reports.

The Tamil Tigers offered a unilateral ceasefire this morning, but the Sri Lankan government called it "a joke" and told the rebels to prepare to "surrender or die".

Now Tamil sources claim there could be an imminent attack - but tens of thousands of civilians remain trapped in the zone.
