After another night and day of intense Israeli bombardment, could an Israeli ceasefire be imminent?
Our international editor, Lindsey Hilsum, understands that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is going to propose a stop to the military bombardment to the cabinet tonight.
But will it mean an end to the siege of Gaza that's prevented essential supplies getting in, and injured civilians getting out?
We also hope to have a report from Inigo Gilmore, who's managed to get to Khan Younis in Gaza, through the Rafah crossing on the border with Egypt.

How do you excite a star who's already won two Oscars and been nominated for another 12 in her illustrious 30-year career? Tell her she's Barack Obama's favourite actress. It turns out that until our interview this morning, Meryl Streep didn't know.
She's in Britain to promote Doubt - a Frost/Nixon style stage-to-screen duel between her steely Sister Aloysius and Phillip Seymour Hoffman's kindly priest, accused of abusing one of her pupils.
In our interview Ms Streep offered a fascinating insight into her process of transforming into roles; the long term battle against Hollywood sexism, how she was a musical star long before Mamma Mia! and why she's on Kate Winslet's side when it comes to THAT blubbing acceptance speech. (Turns out Meryl Streep forgot to mention one producer in one of her Oscar win speeches, and regrets it to this day).
