"The effect of the Iraq war is to cause enormous suffering and loss of life in Iraq, break up the country, make the Middle East more dangerous and unstable, profoundly dishonour the UK, the UK political system and the Labour party, and I'm afraid it's effects will go on for a long time and cause more trouble."
