Race not over yet, says Clinton

By Sarah Smith

Updated on 14 May 2008

Hillary Clinton's landslide victory in West Virginia reveals some worrying signs about Barack Obama's support. Sarah Smith reports.

"This race isn't over yet," Hillary Clinton has told cheering supporters in West Virginia after a landslide victory over Barack Obama propelled her back into the race.

She is already back on the road, with her campaign chairman declaring "She's in it to the end."

But although Obama is still almost certain to win the Democratic nomination for the White House, last night's results revealed some worrying signs.

One in five white voters said that race was a factor in their decision - and only one third of them said they would support Barack Obama against John McCain.
