Peace, but for how long?

The ceasefire in Gaza started in the small hours of this morning and so far it's holding.

If it continues, it may open the door to an easing of the humanitarian crisis for the Palestinian people, enclosed in the small confines of one of the world's most forlorn places and also put an end to the attacks on neighbouring Israeli towns.
