The first results for Zimbabwe's parliamentary election have begun to trickle in, with the opposition claiming a "tsunami" of votes in their favour.

In the vacuum created in the 36 hours since the polls closed, the MDC has claimed a landslide victory.

Results of the 24 seats declared officially so far, however, show the party level-pegging with the ruling ZANU-PF, fuelling the opposition's concerns about vote-rigging. -
