Obama under pressure on Afghanistan

President Obama is feeling the heat over his policy in Afghanistan in the face of the country's troubled elections and the rising death toll from the war. Jon Snow reports.
Afghanistan's election watchdog said today the final result would be delayed for several weeks as officials try to work out how many votes should be discounted because of fraud.
And as the military casualties of the conflict continue to rise, there are claims that the Nato alliance in Afghanistan is in danger of fracturing.
Jon Snow spoke to the man hoping to keep the alliance together, Ivo Daalder, the new US ambassador to Nato. He asked him how the Afghan elections could be viewed as anything other than flawed.
Mr Daalder said: "There are Afghan processes in place. This is an Afghan-run election. The votes are being counted by Afghans.
"There is a process for figuring out if there is fraud and how to deal with and the Afghans have brought that in themselves. Let it play out a little bit. This is of course a difficult place to hold an election in the middle of a war."
