Mumbai body count 155 and rising

Militants are still holed up in the Taj Mahal Palace hotel in Mumbai, where sporadic gunfire and explosions continue.

India's commercial capital is frozen in grief and outrage as the official body count of 155 rises by the hour and the army operation to end it continues.

One of the hotels seized, the Oberoi, is now under control and many of those trapped have been freed.

The siege at a Jewish centre has also ended, with five hostages killed.
