Mugabe's man tells west to 'hang'

"Go hang a thousand times", Mr Mugabe's spokesman warns the west, as he rejects criticism of Zimbabwe's unopposed re-election.

African Union leaders, at their summit in Egypt, are debating a resolution calling for a government of national unity in Zimbabwe, along with talks between Mugabe and the opposition.

But the prospects of any agreement are fairly slight after Mugabe flatly ruled out the idea of a power-sharing deal.
