Mugabe appoints key ministers
Updated on 11 October 2008
The President of Zimbabwe Robert Mugabe has appointed his supporters to key ministerial jobs in the new government.
Since signing an agreement in September, President Mugabe and the Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai have failed to agree on who should be in the cabinet.
It has emerged that key portfolios have been given to members of Mr Mugabe's party, giving him control of the army and the police.
