Meet the would-be suicide bombers

Two failed suicide bombers in Kabul tell us in an exclusive interview they didn't know Afghans were Muslims before they left Pakistan.

Freedom of movement around the Afghan capital is becoming increasingly stifled because of the constant threat of suicide bombers.

Regular security checks are necessary throughout the city. Afghan police say at least 50 failed suicide bombers are in their custody, the vast majority from Pakistan.

'Hang on, I'm a nice infidel'

"I've just been round to have a chat with a couple of suicide bombers. Well, you know, Kabul's that kind of a town.

Charming fellas both. Although when I asked one if he would kill me if we were alone in a room and he had a gun -- he seemed to hesitate just a bit too long..."
