Is the Prime Minister wishing John Prescott was still Labour's Deputy Leader? Mr Prescott may have created the odd political headache here and there, punched the occasional voter, but the campaign to replace him has lead to a migraine-inducing succession of troubles for the PM.
Today Alan Johnson, the Health Secretary, woke up to headlines which said his campaign had received £3,000 from a man who was donating it on behalf of his brother. Now you're not supposed to do that. Mr Johnson says his team carried out all the checks they were required to do and more.
Kenya clashes kill 10
