Is Russia's five-day military operation in Georgia really over?

Russia announces a halt to its military advance into Georgia. But doubt remains if this ceasefire will end the war.
Since Thursday Russia has been flexing its muscles in the disputed regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, and making small but powerful incursions into Georgia proper.
Yesterday Russia briefly captured Senaki junction, on the highway linking the Black Sea with the rest of Georgia, effectively cutting the country in half.
And the Georgian city of Gori, some 50 miles from the capital Tbilisi, has been abandoned by almost all of its residents, who fled fearing a Russian invasion.
Just this morning Russian planes killed five people there.
