Iran vote attracts large turnout

There is a massive turnout in Iran as millions vote in a Presidential election that will impact on the whole world.

As Iranians pass judgement on their hard-line leader, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the world is looking for signs that the country is changing its approach.

With turnout reaching record levels and talk of the president facing defeat, even President Obama held out the prospect of a new kind of engagement by saying he was 'excited' by Iran's robust debate.
