More4 News looks at the threat of further conflict in Kosovo.

Eight years ago British forces intervened in Kosovo.

Their aim was to stop what Nato leaders said was ethnic cleansing.

It was, for some, the high water mark of liberal interventionism, the doctrine of using military might for humanitarian ends.

The whole world has changed since then but some things stay the same. Ancient emnities in the Balkans are threatening once again to break out into conflict.

Kosovo's Albanian majority is demanding independence and their Serbian landlords oppose it.

Nato has committed thousands of its troops to remain and keep the faltering peace.
